Can you bill my private insurance provider?

We do not sign contracts with any private insurance companies and so all of our services are considered "out-of-network." Why does Roots take this approach?  This helps us keep our patients' costs down.  Also, this allows us to provide a full spectrum of wellness care options to any patient seeking help rather than being restricted by any insurance company's protocols and procedures. 


If you would like to submit a paid invoice to your private insurance for potential reimbursement, we can provide you with an itemized copy for your convenience upon request.

Will my private insurance cover your services?

We do not know.  There are a vast number of insurance providers, healthcare policies, and levels of coverage.  If you have concerns regarding reimbursement from your insurance provider for our services, we suggest that you contact your insurance provider for details prior to scheduling an appointment with us.  

Do you accept Medicaid/Forward Health?

We are not accepting Medicaid/Forward Health at this time. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit, debit, health savings, and flex spending accounts.


How long is my first appointment as a new patient?

All patients new to our Chiropractic Care and/or Functional Medicine services are 60 minutes.  Intake forms are eMailed to you for completion prior to your appointment.  If you do not have eMail, we ask that you arrive 15 - 20 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork.

What do you charge for your services?

Fees vary by service so it is best to contact our office for details.  We do offer time-of-service discounts and multi-visit packages for established Chiropractic Care patients.  

I'm not "new" to Roots per se but it has been a long time since my last visit.  What should I do?

Give our office a call.  The type of appointment required depends on how long it has been since we last saw you and the service you are requesting.  We are happy to review your appointment history and schedule your next appointment accordingly.
