NEW CHIROPRACTIC PATIENTS
Frequently Asked Questions

We are so excited that you've chosen Roots as your home for chiropractic care!  Whether you and your children have received adjustments from another practitioner previously or are completely new to chiropractic care, we want you to feel comfortable with the New Chiropractic Patient process here at Roots.  Please review the information below and let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns prior to your to your first visit.  We would be happy to assist you!

How long is my first chiropractic appointment?

60 minutes.  This time affords the our Practitioners the opportunity to get to know you, review your health history, discuss specific concerns, and establish goals with you for ongoing care.  Your first chiropractic appointment also includes an exam and adjustment.  Please note, New Chiropractic Patient Intake Forms will be sent electronically for completion prior to your appointment.

Do you perform X-rays?

Nope.  X-rays emit radiation and we strive to reduce your exposure unless absolutely necessary.  Instead, we use a state-of-the-art thermal scanning device.  This provides instant feedback to our Practitioners on your spinal nerves and how well they're functioning.  It is simple, easy, and safe for our patients; particularly our pregnant mamas and their babies!

Do you accept private insurance or Medicaid/Forward Health?

No.  We do not sign contracts with any private insurance companies.  This helps us keep our patients' costs down and allows us to provide a full spectrum of wellness care options to any patient seeking help rather than being restricted by an insurance company's protocols.  Also, we are not accepting Medicaid/Forward Health at this time.

Will my private insurance cover your services?

Maybe. There are a vast number of insurance providers, healthcare policies, and levels of coverage.  If you have concerns regarding reimbursement from your insurance provider for our services, we suggest that you contact your insurance provider for details prior to scheduling an appointment with us.  We will gladly provide a "PAID" receipt that you can submit for potential reimbursement.
