“To be pregnant is to be vitally alive, thoroughly woman, and distressingly inhabited. Soul and spirit are stretched –
along with body making pregnancy a
time of transition, growth, and profound beginnings.” ~ Anne Christian Buchanan
PRENATAL & POSTNATAL
Chiropractic care offers comfort during pregnancy, makes labor easier and faster, helps with baby's movement and position, and aids in mom's recovery after birth.
Are chiropractic adjustments during pregnancy safe for mom and baby?
Yes! Chiropractic care is proven to be safe for both mom and unborn babies. We love working with expecting moms to decrease labor time and make delivery safer, faster, and easier.

Isn't discomfort in my low back and pelvis normal during pregnancy?
No! Seeing a prenatal chiropractor helps your low back, pelvis and surrounding ligaments move properly. This will ease discomfort for mom and give baby more freedom to move in the womb.

Isn't giving birth supposed to be long, hard, and painful?
No! The more prepared your body is to give birth, the better the outcome. If your pelvic and uterine ligaments are well balanced, it will be easier for baby to get into an optimal position for birth and will make delivery easier on mom.

Are adjustments during pregnancy really any different from other adjustments?
Yes! We use the Webster Technique, which is a specific chiropractic adjustment that balances the pelvic muscles, ligaments, and bone structures. The Webster Technique allows baby to move without restriction in-utero, and get into the best possible position for birth. As your body changes, we modify the techniques to accommodate your growing belly.
