NEWBORN & INFANT

Chiropractic care supports your child's brain-body communication through the nervous system by improving focus and cognitive function, digestion, sleep and mood.  Chiropractic care also helps support motor skills and movement, the immune system, and their ability to heal.

My baby JUST arrived!  Could they really need an adjustment already?

Yes!  Because developing in a confined space, being born, and growing can be a lot for a newborn!  Proper movement of the spine and cranial bones helps your baby achieve full head rotation (reducing the risk of flat spots) and meeting milestones as they grow such as rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, and talking!

Tiny Feet

Gassiness and spitting up...just part of everyday "baby life"  right?

Yes!  But, excessive gassiness and spitting up (reflux) could be caused by a miscommunication between the brain and digestive tract. Chiropractic adjustments to the spine and abdomen can improve brain-body communication relieving baby's gassiness and reflux.

Nursing Newborn

Isn't colic normal for newborns?

No!  Excessive crying (colic) is their way of telling you something is wrong.  Oftentimes, it is because they feel discomfort due to restricted movement.  Chiropractic adjustments calm your baby by removing those restrictions, allowing full range of movement from head to toe.

Going days without pooping is normal for babies, right?

No!  Constipation is a symptom of your baby's digestive system not working efficiently.  When your baby is not getting the proper signaling from the brain to the digestive system, bowel movements "stall" causing constipation.  What your baby is eating can further contribute to their constipation and slow bowel movements.
